In the lovely city of London, Ontario, Deborah finds tranquility in her backyard sanctuary, nestled under the protective canopy of two magnificent maple trees. Even on the hottest days of summer, under the nurturing presence of her large, leafy companions, this breezy, backyard office creates delightful working conditions where writing, inspiration and ideas blossom. 

Deborah is a member of The Society of Children's Books, Writers, and Illustrators (SCBWI), a charming community that shares her enjoyment for spinning magical narratives.  She also follows UNICEF, the World School Championship for Reforestation and Canada Writes (CBC).
